Was recommended to Dimas by a friend after I had received a whopping $4,000 quote from Elmore Toyota for a rebuilt transmission. Trannys should not be going in a 2006 Toyota Solara Convertible with slightly under 100,000 miles, but it is what it is, & I can save that review for Toyota.
I was not disappointed! Imagine a mechanic who actually came in slightly UNDER the estimate!! That has never happened in my lifetime. These guys are the real deal - friendly, honest & trustworthy.
The only downside was I had to rent a car for almost a week, but it doesn't matter - totally worth it to have an honest mechanic work on your car.
Good-bye Elmore Toyota for my Solara's needs. I will be using Coast Automotive from here on out!

Easily one of the most crowded (with cars/business), and cleanest, garages I've ever seen. The guys here are no BS with really fast turnaround times.

I've built my own race cars all my life (ListerCorvette (dot) com, and when I first arrived at Coast Automotive Performance 15 yrs ago, I could tell that these guys were different. All the nuts and bolts from a repair were all lined up as if it were a racecar disassembly...but it was for a customer's car!
Since then, Dimas and Max are the ONLY guys I let touch my cars and trucks. They do no advertising at all, yet they're always busy with people who refer their friends and family....rare find, these guys. |
